ABOUT BKS FUND

BKSF – “KEEPING THE VINTAGE BIKE WORLD ROLLING”

The Busted Knuckle Scholarship Fund is a Foundation set up to assist young motorcycle mechanics who are interested in vintage motorcycle “restoration arts”. The Foundation was organized by a group of friends who share a passion for vintage motorcycles and want to give back to the vintage motorcycling community. The Foundation was first organized in 2011 by vintage bike enthusiasts Steve Murrin and Blake ‘Moon Dog’ Fincher. It is a duly registered Georgia Corporation with a Board of Directors of ten members. It has a scholarship selection committee of three and its day to day operations are staffed by the donation of time from the Law Firm of Murrin and Wallace, L.L.C. , Atlanta, Georgia.

The Foundation has applied for 501 C-3 tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and seeks donations and business partnerships with schools, tool manufacturers, motorcycle dealerships, manufacturers, vintage clubs, part suppliers and various vintage restoration professionals and organizations.  We accept donations to assist aspiring mechanics and are a 100% transparent organization with an all volunteer staff that accepts no benefit other than the satisfaction of passing their knowledge to the next generation of vintage restorer.
